Biography
Amy Atkinson is a professionally-certified makeup artist specializing in bridal, beauty, glamour and high fashion makeup. She started her career in 2001 as a makeup artist / sales associate at M.A.C cosmetics while earning a B.S. in Marketing at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. She then packed her bags and moved to Los Angeles where she worked for Silver Image Studios as an artist and photographer's associate in the production of fashion catalogs. Her love and passion for the beauty and fashion industry led her to start her own makeup business for photoshoots, weddings and events. Amy Atkinson Makeup Artistry takes pride in focusing on the goals and objectives of the client. From natural to high fashion, smokey eye to a fierce red lip, Amy has the expertise, technique and natural eye for making people look and feel beautiful. Amy currently resides in San Diego and continues her service for special events, photoshoots, film/tv, weddings and everyday wear.
